Spring Break Bradley County Schools will be closed next week, March 15-19, for Spring Break. Cheerleading Tryouts Cheerleading tryouts will be held on Monday, March 8-Friday, March 12 from 3:30-5:00. If you did not attend the mandatory meeting on Thursday, March 4, you must call Mrs. Stone before tryouts. Dance Tryouts Dance tryouts will be held Tuesday, March 23 - Friday, March 26 in the cafeteria from 3:30-5:00. There is also a MANDATORY parent meeting for any student wanting to tryout. The meeting will be held on Monday, March 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. For more information, please see the Dance Team page under Athletics. Track Tryouts Track tryouts will continue today from 3:30-5:00 for girls & boys 6, 7, and 8 grade. Get dressed in the gymatorium locker rooms. Report to the gym floor after you get dressed. Parents must pick you up by 5:15. WVHS Color Guard Anyone interested in trying out for the Walker Valley High School Color Guard: There will be a meeting on Tuesday, March 9 from 4:00-5:00 in the WVHS band room. The meeting will consist of tryout info and what it's like to be a member. If you have any questions, call Mrs.Hunt at 336-1383 S.T.A.G S.T.A.G (Students Talking About God) will be meeting every Thursday in Mr. Tim Jones' classroom at 7:45. Teachers are also welcome to attend. |
