COLT "Word of the Day" Imminent: about to happen or occur soon. Ms.West reminded her class that the Social Studies test was imminent and to be studying. STUDENTS Art Club: Any student interested in Art Club, please make plans to attend a short meeting in the art room on Thursday,September 11th, immediatley after school. A brand new club is being formed here @ OMS. The Ruriteens will be focusing on fellowship, goodwill, and community service. This is a nationally recognized organization that will be accepting applications this week. Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student who is interested should see Mrs. Canida or Mr. Tim Jones in the 8th grade hall. Chess Club: We will begin Monday, September 8th, in the cafeteria from 3:30-4:30 pm. All 6th,7thand 8th graders are welcome. TEACHERS Team Leaders: Please submit student names for the Character Trait RESPECT. No more than 5 names per team. This is due no later than September 5th.
